BUILDING THE FUTURE "Young Radicals
we have once again highlighted the transformative role that we have within of our party and society as a whole.
We have accepted the challenge of the times, discussing issues that the present demand of us a definition. Without ignoring reflection, we have reaffirmed our role as key players in the political and social analysts and not merely descriptive of a reality is starkly evident. We appeal to pluralism and dissent even as a basis for discussion and a precondition for the comprehensive understanding of each topic. And so we intend to further strengthen our organization to become the unavoidable link between youth and politics.
REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH: Conclusions .-
We are convinced that the way to a modern party organization recompose ties with citizens born with a greater commitment and better understanding of the issues that affect and concern to society.
In an Argentina where intolerance, violence and confrontation are permanent, the youth of the Radical Civic Union came together to discuss, to disagree and to put back on the political agenda a prickly issue that affects us socially. We are aware that this is a complex problem that requires a multidisciplinary analysis, as in the crowded biological, legal, cultural, philosophical and theological. This complexity also manifested in the need to avoid simplistic Manichaean pose to reduce the discussion to the opposition or support for abortion.
Young people believe that the main tool to address this problem is prevention and education. It is essential that as soon as possible is implemented in all Primary and Secondary Schools in every corner of our vast province the National Programme of Comprehensive Sex Education, established by National Law No. 26,150. Special emphasis should be placed on the need to adapt programs to the socio-cultural reality of each school community, which is defining when establishing procedures for dictation and age of onset of learning. Only through education will generate a real awareness of the issues raised and an effective prevention policy, not forgetting that education should also become the basic tool for achieving social equality.
We are for life, we are for equality and against discrimination of any kind. Abortion, abstracting from any religious or theological discussion, it is an undeniable reality, and we can not ignore that many women die each year in our country because of the secrecy that these are being done. Faced with this reality, young people can not be indifferent. We are aware that establish a position on an issue like this will not according to everyone, but we could not delay a debate is urgently needed and can not be measured by electoral gains, but for their devastating costs on society; an issue that costs lives, especially among the most neglected.
